Our Office understands the value of insurance benefits to our patients. As a courtesy to our patients, we accept assignment of these benefits towards the payment of dental treatment. Dental plans do vary greatly, and we can not take responsibility for knowing all of the limitations of your dental Insurance plan.
We encourage our patients to know their plan to eliminate disappointment with payments and reimbursement. Insurance claims that are not reimbursed to us within 30 days will become the responsibility of the patient. Upon request, we can provide a pre-authorization for estimated insurance coverage in advance of treatment to enable patients to prepare their finances accordingly.
Remember, your dental insurance plan is not a treatment plan. The forms, conditions, and percentages of payments are a contract between you, your employer or union, and the insurance company. Only you and your dentist can decide on the treatment plan that best meets your specific needs and circumstances.
